Miss Valone's Mission Statement
My mission as a teacher is to inspire students and teach with excitement and creativity. I will motivate, build confidence, and maximize success. I will foster positive relationships and ensure that all students are loved and cared for in this classroom.
Who is Miss Valone?
Hi! My name is Stephanie Valone and I am your student's teacher at Woodland Elementary!
I am originally from Brooklyn, New York, and my family has lived in Radcliff since 2000. I was once a fifth grade Woodland student and am honored to be the first Woodland graduate to return as a classroom teacher! I continued attending Hardin County Schools, graduating from John Hardin High School - Go Dawgs! I went to college at Western Kentucky University (Go Tops!) in Bowling Green, achieving my Bachelors in Elementary Education and my Masters in Library Media and Technology Education. This is my ninth year as a Woodland Eagle and my 11th year in education. At Woodland, I taught 2nd Grade for one year, 3rd Grade Collab for 7 years, and this year I will be working with a 2nd and 3rd Grade Split class! If you have any questions or concerns this year, please don't hesitate to contact me!
